Cheadle Hulme are pleased to announce the signing of Taylor Gibson as our overseas player for the 2020 season. Taylor plays for East Ringwood Cricket Club in the Victorian State Championship. He has been instrumental to the success of their 1st XI and T20 Team, captaining the T20 team to back to back flags and scoring over 2000 1st XI runs.
Taylor is coming off his best season for the club as he’s scored 688 runs at an average of 49.14 with 2 centuries against Bayswater Park and North Ringwood. Along with being impressive with the bat, he is regarded as one of the best fielders in the district, taking 14 catches and was involved in 6 run-outs. Thanks to this he picked up the Fred Hodgkins Best 1st XI Player award and also featured in the RDCA All-Stars team.
We look forward to welcoming Taylor to Cheadle Hulme and are hoping for another successful season.
